MEAN SPIRITED SURF TALK

*** I was reading an article on the ISA games in Costa Rica last week, and couldn't believe my eyes when the caption for the ladies portion of the report read "The ladies gave plenty of rail digging lessons this week." What a dick-head remark, especially after the reporter stroked every ones ego's including some high-performance logging crap....

Sorry ladies, I thought you all were shredding.

MR COTES LUCKY SUIT

*** Justin claims this suit has got some magical fish magnetism.... Hope it does attract any really big fishy's.

ART 4 LITTLE SISTERS SCHOOL

*** Whipped this piece out for my little sisters school. They are celebrating the year of India and thought since I loved Indian food, Shantaram and Elephants I would be the right dude

MALIZOO

***Got lost in the hustle up there again. Such an amazing amphitheatre of surf history. Crazy crowds, fights, wild people, great surfing and one damn fine wave for noseriding. Many thanks.

BEEN MIA

***Been swallowed whole by life lately, sorry to have neglected this task. I'll do my best to make it up. Oh, yeah how amazing is MIA....

AMAZING STAMP

***Whole lot of creepyness and artistic genius.

GREG LONG IS NUTS

***Yeah, yeah we've heard it before Greg Long snagged a bomb. Well considering this one was paddled into at maxing Puerto, I'd say it's the closest shot to Brock Littles infamous Waimea. Well done sir.

DRUNKEN SQUIRREL

GREAT WHITE INVADES MALIBU

****Great Whites are invading Malibu, finally mother nature is playing a crucial role in the crazy amount of people surfing in Southern California. Take the advice of any good SeaWorld expert quoted on live TV or Radio and stay out of the water, because there is a good chance you could easily be there next snack. This little fellar was off the point yesterday as me and 300 of my friends slid the slide. Ignorance is bliss....

CLASSIC MOMENTS FROM THE OP PRO

****I was surfing the web the other day and saw a top ten list on best moments of the OP pro. These two stuck out. The Nuuiwa noseride is absolutely timeless and so gifted us all with inspiration. The second shot of Gerlach's grab floater is so epic, totally surprised me, not sure how I missed this photo back in the day, but has to be one of the best backside floater's I've ever seen!

HB AT ITS FINEST

**** This post is for my amigo that commented on HB having a lot more people than the other photo. Well here is a great example from last week. Packed house indeed sir.

TIM STAMPS IS A CHAMPION

***Our pal and shred sled maker, Tim Stamps won the Surfside retro contest for the 4th time this last weekend. Wooooohhooooo.....When asked about the win he replied "if I was born a decade earlier I would have been busting down the door". All kidding aside stoked to see Timmy killing it on the board front as well as laying done the law in the water.

SHANTARAM

***Hands down my favorite book ever! Such an incredible story. It's amazing how quickly  you read this 1,000 page brick. Rumor has it that J.Depp is currently starting and producing the Shantaram film. So do your self a favor and read the book before that happens. Enjoy.

I MISS TREES

***SD is great, but suberbia is getting  to me. I find myself dreaming of the Sierra's or the redwoods way to often. Think a camping trip is greatly needed.

GIANT STINGRAYS TAKE OVER THE WORLD

***There have been a unusual amount of stingrays cruising the shores lately this summer, so watch out. Imagine if all of them were this big and teamed up with Aliens giving them the powers to eat people, fly, and shoot killer lazor beams from their eye's. All these dudes would be fried.

TASMANIAN TIGER EXTINCT?

***I just found out about the Tasmanian Tiger on my last trip. This is a photo of the last captive animal in the Hobart Zoo, 1934.
Like any good community, Tasmanian council paid their citizens a few pounds per animal to kill all these amazing creatures, in order to make way for more livestock. Although they are considered extinct, there have been multiple sightings of this striped dog and many people believe there is a small community of them still flourishing in remotes parts of the bush.
