A solstice is an astronomical event that happens twice each year, when the tilt of the Earth's axis is most inclined toward or away from the Sun, causing the Sun's apparent position in the sky to reach its northernmost or southernmost extreme. The name is derived from the Latin sol (sun) and sistere (to stand still), because at the solstices, the Sun stands still in declination; that is, the apparent movement of the Sun's path north or south comes to a stop before reversing direction.

Love the shot with my little man, Sparky Dickles. ***Last minute venue last night.... A few friends gave me the heads up to the genius behind this wide eyed charismatic word smith. A great mix between Harry Daily, Johny Depp and a circus clown. Balloons, confetti, juggling, hula hooping and oh yeah some amazing music. Fully captivated. I'll post some pictures from the show. So much fun....

***I finally broke down and replaced the last iphone I dropped in the sea. Slightly nerding out on this little gadgets use value and fun factor. Good stuff. Here are a few snaps from the recent course.

BREATH OF FIRE

****Breath of fire is surreal goodness for the mind body and spirit. Humans natural capability of reaching new levels. If you have never tried the practice. Find a quite place, sit in lotus or stand palms open to receive/palms closed to ground, clear the mind, and forcefully pump the diaphragm inwards(belly should be jumping like a dance party) and out to expel air from the your core from the nose. Try the practice for 2 minutes, than 3 and increase pace as you go if doable. For maximum levity, close the eyes and focus your gaze at your 3rd eye (in between your eye brows).....When finished take a large inhale, hold the breath and than release. Great energy builder and stress relief, enjoy....

***Still buzing from last nights magical synchronicity. Missed their last tour in these parts, so hunted them down in a quaint little Big Sur setting. With no tickets coming my way, was able to swing free tickets with new and old friends. Meet Alexander, Jade and the rest of the band. Intimate setting, out doors under the redwoods, full tilt beauty for the ears, peace in the mind and wild fire in my dancing legs. So alive....Thanks and praises.The Dawes---- Great suprise live... Smooth sounds and rocked my world with one of my favorite mix tape tracks from Brother Dakota... Unreal....Had to buy a Vinyl to liste to it loud.

Kaki King---- What an energetic bundle of talent, twisted space eyes and radical sexual banter. Such a great show, she made love to a man with her guitar and than finished the 2 1/2 hour show with a stage dive and dance off with the entire crowd that was so much fun...yeewwwww...

More shows to come, soaking up some San Fransisco sun soaked winds, going with the flow, drawing heaps, embracing happiness and getting listening to a few new bands that are blowing my mind daily.....Missing yoga class, tapping breathe of fire....Soon come
