MERCURY IN RETROGRADE
***Just in case things have felt a bit sluggish or unclear as of late.. The cosmos say....At 20:00 UT (Universal Time) Friday, August 20th, 2010, Mercury the wise communicator—and universal trickster—turns retrograde at 19°01' Virgo, in the sign of the Virgin, sending communications, travel, appointments, mail and the www into a general snarlup! The retro period begins some days before the actual turning point (as Mercury slows) and lasts for three weeks or so, until September 12, 2010, when the Winged Messenger reaches his direct station. At this time he halts and begins his return to direct motion through the zodiac.
Everything finally straightens out on September 27, as he passes the point where he first turned retrograde. Mercury normally turns retrograde three times a year, but this year he turns tail four times, which is unusual.

HEADING EAST 4 THE VANS JOEL TUDOR INVITATIONAL
Just got in from Europe, have the night at home with family in LA and than off again tomorrow morning for Joel's Invitational.. So great to breathe in the Pacific sea mist and give my little sister, mom and dad some love. Feeling honored to be on the short list of rippers and looking forwards to the times ahead... Never been to those parts so looking forwards to the new sensations ahead..... Oh yeah, did I mention this will be the 1st contest I've done in 10 years... Should be interesting.. No expectations. FULL MOON ART SHOW WAS FULL POWER
**La Combusa Buddha (the Buddha's kitchen) put on a great venue to hang some art, hang with friends and eat some great food.. Many thanks to Simone and Nico for all your help in creating a wonderful night full of love and light...
***My intentions for the evening were to simply have fun and meet new Italian surfers... Well guess other had a similar vision, as over a hundred people crowded the small venue, eating, drinking and arting away for a truly moon powered art show to be remembered.... Thanks to all that came and added your great vibes and jives.
***Actually hard for me to put into words how magical this creature is.... Truly a people person, full heart powered and one hell of a good friend. Also about the best curator to date, sold the entire show out with the wave of his magic wand... Thank you Nico, I'm so blessed to have run into all those years ago at Cardiff reef.. Once again the sea provides infinite blessings.

NICCOLO'S 1st SURF
***My sister and nephew came to Marina Di Pisa to hang in the sea for the day.. With great honor, I took the little man out for his first paddle and surf.. 2 years old, full of a beautiful sprit and holding no fear we stroked for the outer reaches of the sea, all the while he screamed to go further, further form land and closer to the sun.. Magic baby.........
***Post surf siesta...
***Niccolo fully emerged in the fluttering beauty of wind charms and salty skin..
