***Sick styles in Cardiff. This was my first time in the DJ booth, such a rush and a ton of fun. Went by the name of DJ Narwal. Keep your ears to the pulse for the round #2. 1 of the Mattson 2. Such great people. Manilla Ice crushing it all night long.... Dancing is fun....
Big thanks to Ando for the event, Erica for the photos and all the good people for cutting rug.
***Top 5 five favorite Malibu Surfers.... ***Top 5 favorite artist ***Top five favorite 5 man tagging pyramids...
***Basically Barry is the man... Surfed Malibu with him the last few days, sick style.... Great to see him and Kio share a few waves, because I love the Kios ding repair shirts they made for yellow rat..
*** I was reading an article on the ISA games in Costa Rica last week, and couldn't believe my eyes when the caption for the ladies portion of the report read "The ladies gave plenty of rail digging lessons this week." What a dick-head remark, especially after the reporter stroked every ones ego's including some high-performance logging crap....
*** Whipped this piece out for my little sisters school. They are celebrating the year of India and thought since I loved Indian food, Shantaram and Elephants I would be the right dude
***Got lost in the hustle up there again. Such an amazing amphitheatre of surf history. Crazy crowds, fights, wild people, great surfing and one damn fine wave for noseriding. Many thanks.
***We went and danced the night away with senior Toots behind the helm. Home boy has to be one of the spunkyiest 60 year olds on the planet. Great show... ****Here's a few moves Blair and I got down on.
***This is Noel Robbins is the man. 1/2 norcal local and 1/2 puerto resident. snagged a few bombs... yeeeewwwwww ****Greg on another bomb... ****Noel on a bomber..... *****Brian Conley on a bomber. Really jaw dropping imagery.
***Ahhhh, need I say more. ***A classic shot from the lens of Mr. Rob Gilley. Well done sir. ***The wedge was firing, people were a hootin and photogs were a snapping. Yeah it was rad.
***Yeah, yeah we've heard it before Greg Long snagged a bomb. Well considering this one was paddled into at maxing Puerto, I'd say it's the closest shot to Brock Littles infamous Waimea. Well done sir.
****Great Whites are invading Malibu, finally mother nature is playing a crucial role in the crazy amount of people surfing in Southern California. Take the advice of any good SeaWorld expert quoted on live TV or Radio and stay out of the water, because there is a good chance you could easily be there next snack. This little fellar was off the point yesterday as me and 300 of my friends slid the slide. Ignorance is bliss....
****I was surfing the web the other day and saw a top ten list on best moments of the OP pro. These two stuck out. The Nuuiwanoseride is absolutely timeless and so gifted us all with inspiration. The second shot of Gerlach's grab floater is so epic, totally surprisedme, not sure how I missed this photo back in the day, but has to be one of the best backside floater's I've ever seen!
Welcome..... This blog is dedicated to showcasing recent happening in our world. From travels to inspiration, the collectic life looks to bring together like minded people and other random junk from our blessed lives. Enjoy... 111
